The accommodation
4:44 amUnknownHello all,
Today I would like to discuss with you in order to talk about the accommodation. Indeed, it is the first thing that you need to do when you go abroad.
I share with you my experience and it is not a good thing. Before to leave my country, I did not prepare my travel and I did not have accommodation. So, do not make like me!!!

The first thing that you need to know it is there is an exchange rate in Scotland compared to France. It
means that the price is very expensive!!

In order to save money, the best behavior is to find a flat and even better, have joint tenancy. In this way, the cost of the accommodation is around 200£. To do this, you could research in real estate agency or use website such as "Le bon coin" in France alias Gumtree

If you think that it is too difficult to find something, you could use something easier. In reality, the University has her own accommodations. In my experience, UWS in Paisley has 3 résidences localised in Story Street, Georges Street and Lady Lane and the first is the cheaper than others with a rent of 600£. So, you can make you demand and have information here

For my part, I am living in a student accommodation which name is MyPad. It is in the center of Paisley. I have only 5 minutes to walk in order to go at the University, near to the train station and bus (only 1 minute) and food stores just below the residence. The rent is approximatly 400£. More information on MyPad

But, okay, I know it is in Paisley and some of people say that it is better to live in Glagow because the city is biggest, I know!! So, ... there are different student accommodations in Glasgow.
The first that I know is Unite Students. There are a lot of residence, so you have the choice. The cost for her is 500/600£. More information on Unite Student
And to finish, I discovered this residence no longer. Her name is Collegiate and it is amaaaazing! Really! The room is superbly designed and equipped (also gyms and cinémas) and her localisation is perfect. Consequently, the price is expensive and turn around 600£. More information on Collegiate
So, all student accommodation are all bills included, it is often a kitchen to share with other people but you have a room with en-suite. However, if you take a flat alone or with joint tenancy, you should think to the bills (electricity) and it is very expensive here.
This is all I know, but maybe I forgot something so if you want more information, you can let me know, make comments and I will answer you. I hope that my article help you.
XOXO
